End of negative results letters

For many years DFSNZ has sent athletes a “Negative Results Letter” after being tested, confirming that no prohibited substances had been identified. This is good news.

Due to athlete feedback and system changes, we have made the decision to discontinue these letters. Now you will only hear from us if there is an issue with your sample. Basically, no news is good news.

We’ve written to athletes on the Registered Testing Pool and National Testing Pool to let them know of this change.

You can still call or email us to check your results. Results usually come back from the lab within four weeks, however may take up to eight weeks in the COVID environment.
