Te Ope Tāmiro

Te Ope Tāmiro works with the Board to ensure that the establishment and ongoing work of the Commission is informed by tikanga Māori, mātauranga Māori and Māori aspirations.

Members of Te Ope bring a range of expertise and experience including from the sport and recreation sector, helping to ensure that Māori aspirations are central to the strategic approach and operation of the Commission.

Pacific Nations Engagement Group

The Pacific Nations Engagement Group (PNEG) is an independent advisory group that represents and amplifies the voices of Pacific peoples from across Aotearoa New Zealand. The group ensures that the diverse values, practices, and lived experiences of Pacific communities are woven throughout the integrity system of sport and recreation. The PNEG works actively alongside the Commission to help build a culture of integrity that supports safe, and fair environments for Pacific peoples participating in sport and recreation.
