DFSNZ welcomes the appointment of Professor Patria Hume to DFSNZ Board

Drug Free Sport New Zealand (DFSNZ) is delighted to have secured the services of Professor Patria Hume to the DFSNZ Board for a three year term until 31 December 2022.

DFSNZ Board Chair Warwick Gendall QC says “We’re looking forward to having Professor Hume’s input and her valuable experience as a leading expert in sports injury prevention and sports performance biomechanics and injury epidemiology.

“In addition to her sport and exercise science expertise, Professor Hume’s experience as a world class athlete and coach in the sport of rhythmic gymnastics will greatly help us ensure that athletes are always at the centre of our work.”

Professor Hume is Professor of Human Performance in the Auckland University of Technology (AUT) Sport Performance Research Institute New Zealand (SPRINZ). She has been appointed for a three year term, until 31 December 2022.
