DFSNZ celebrates retiring Board Chair Hon Warwick Gendall QC
The team at Drug Free Sport New Zealand (DFSNZ) wish to thank retiring Board Chairperson Hon Warwick Gendall QC CNZM for his significant contribution the organisation and also to clean athletes and clean sport. Formerly a high court judge and Chair of the New Zealand Parole Board, Justice Gendall served as DFSNZ Board Chair for nine years, in addition to his involvement with many sporting and charitable organisations.
DFSNZ Chief Executive Nick Paterson says “We’ve greatly appreciated Warwick’s years of service and the guidance that he has provided to DFSNZ. He will always be an ally in clean sport, and we wish him all the very best.”
Current board member Timothy Castle has been appointed as the new chair until July 2021. Board members Sarah Ulmer and Keven Mealamu have been reappointed for terms of one and two years respectively.
