Virtual Reality doping control available now
An exciting new interactive approach is now available for athletes and support personnel to experience the doping control process.
Launch VR now: vr.drugfreesport.org.nz
DFSNZ have developed a Virtual Reality (VR) learning experience which aligns with current educational approaches and aims to inform athletes and their support people about the doping control process.
We understand that an athlete’s first experience with doping control (or ‘testing’) can be uncomfortable and invasive. By completing this ‘real world’ experience, athletes and their support people will learn what to expect during doping control as well as their rights and responsibilities.
This process is really important to everyone understand – especially for young athletes and their support people, for athletes who haven’t been tested before, and those on a development pathway towards high performance sport.
Our VR experience will be available at DFSNZ Outreach Programmes and via this link.
Check it out on your phone now: vr.drugfreesport.org.nz You can also use this link to experience VR on computer, or using your own VR goggles.
