Clean sport and COVID-19

We’re testing and educating at Red, Orange and Green

We have field protocols in place to adapt to each level of the COVID Protection Framework (CPF). This means that we’ll continue to test and educate athletes throughout the CPF traffic light settings, subject to Ministry of Health guidance.

Education may be in-person (subject to capacity limits) or online. We can support your team in their clean sport journey through workshops, webinars or our established 2022 clean sport online education modules - all for free.

We’re also happy to provide free bespoke education packages where we can. To chat about your requirements, get in touch with us at

We’re vaccinated, distanced, sanitised and masked

Everyone in our team is vaccinated and follows strict health and safety protocols, including physical distancing, personal hygiene measures, sanitising surfaces and wearing masks. We’ll also ask you to follow health and safety protocols to keep our team safe.

Everyone in the DFSNZ field teams has a valid COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate (CVC). Those in the field undertaking testing missions and education workshops are happy to provide these to athletes, NSOs or venue staff on request.

We follow health and hygiene protocol wherever we go

Our team are happy to show their CVCs when out on testing missions or conducting workshops. They’ll be following public health measures including maintaining physical distancing, wearing a mask (except when an educator is presenting), and following hygiene procedures. Nobody on our team will attend a testing mission or workshop if they have COVID-19 symptoms, are being tested, or have been advised to self-isolate. These steps are in place to protect our team and everyone we interact with.

Our field team will be using RAT tests at the current phase three prior to testing and in-person education.

Visiting us? Make sure you’re fully vaccinated.

To keep our HQ team safe, if you’re visiting our office then you’ll need to provide proof of vaccination by way of your CVC. You’ll also need to scan in using our QR code, use hand sanitiser, masks and observe social distancing requirements in line with current public health measures.

If you’re not fully vaccinated, we’ll be happy to organise a virtual meeting. Anyone entering our office must be fully vaccinated.
